Cyber Cinderella?

Yeah, at one point in my life, I can say that I used to hold that title once.

Tryin' to find my prince charming on the net.

But that was long before the 'rebirth' of a new me...

I may have probably talked to the most intellectual ones down to the most non-sensical ones.

But that's not the issue here.

My oversized bags, clothes & some stuff are definitely a good buy.

But am forgetting something here....

Pampering myself once in awhile.

So, after two months, I decided to used Sir Eric's gift to me last Chritsmas, a LFI gift certificate.

With Deanne in their branch in Katipunan, at exactly my third year in PixelEyes.

Facial, foot spa & eyebrow threading.

That hurts, but that's the price you pay for beauty, right?

Well, this cinderella felt sad right after.

Not because I have to go home alone coz Deanne isn't finished yet with her 'waxing' but because I decided to isolate myself for awhile.

Shutting myself off to everything.

But know what cheered me up?

A message from Jojo saying that, "Sometimes, there are certain things that we cannot comprehend due to our personal reason. Let God's plan to flow in your heart without shutting any side of your life."

Bullseye!

But that text from him made me felt better, thanks pal...

Two Beardays in a Day

Since our new office's under renovation for a month, we temporarily stayed @ Katipunan, with no net connection - actually there is, but just a dial up & will probably take you forever to connect.

No meryenda galore, for that matter.

Will take you four rides to get there. Oh, I stand corrected, it's five!

First, I've bought a book there with Mark at Great Finds Bookshop. Wally Lamb's 'She's Come Undone' worth 80 pesos only.

Second, Elbeth & I met up at Mcdo Gen. Luna to witness the Black Nazarene vigil @ Rizal Park last 8th since I am a devotee.

Quiapo church have been my church since I was a kid.

The second one I guess is the EDSA shrine in Galleria which is just a step away from our old office.

Third, I've been goin' out a lot with my highschool buds.

Just last Dec. 30th, we attended the baptismal of Mandi Gabriel, Mhallet & Divine's first born.

Then, the send-off party to their family last 5th since they're all leaving for Singapore. Bon voyage!

Afterwhich, last 6th. First, at Mam Cez's residence for the birthday of her husband & sons. Then to Emmylou's house for her dad's birthday.

The last was last 12th at MOA pyro olympics kaso we weren't able to catch it since we arrived there at past 10pm already.

Seph, Isaac, Emy & me just decided to stroll & eat.

We even asked a KFC crew to take us pictures. Sinabi lang ni Seph na it's my birthday para pagbigyan kami. So now, I've got two birthdays. Jan. 13th & Nov. 13th. At least it's still 13th, huh!
